RemoteWorks Upgrades Casual Male Store Infrastructure

Casual Male Retail Group, which operates 550 Big and Tall Men’s Shops and Designs retail outlets across the United States, has contracted RemoteWorks, based in Nashua, NH, to upgrade their existing MLINK store polling system. The new system will run on RemoteWare, a Windows-based file polling, remote support and inventory management system.

According to RemoteWorks president Christopher Barrett, the new system will run over DIRECWAY®, the leading broadband-by-satellite service from Hughes Network Systems. “The DIRECWAY network is nationwide, and RemoteWorks’ provides proven solutions for small and medium-sized retailers. Casual Male based its decision on what we’ve already done for businesses of similar size.”

RemoteWorks has installed systems and serviced Timberland, Staples, the 99 Restaurants and others. The company also enables affordable satellite services for single-site operations; and provides technology to many Fortune 500 companies, including Gulf Oil, ADP and Hewlett-Packard.

“For companies in geographically challenged areas without access to cable or DSL, we are the best solution,” says Barrett. “We’re also able to provide better solutions, affordably, for multiple-location operations running a patchwork of dial-up, DSL and cable systems across a state, region, or the entire country.”

RemoteWorks is an authorized reseller of DIRECWAY®, XcelleNet™, Synchrologic™ and AJB Software products, and has been providing distributed site communications and back office software solutions since 1994. For more information, visit www.remoteworks.com
